I think the comparison between Jobs and Edison is apt. Edison wasn't your typical robber-baron, nor was he the singular genius like Tesla (he was a genius, just at very different things, just like Jobs).

Yeah, and getting other people to help you think. I really believe folks miss this about Edison: he was brilliant at building a team of inventors, and of figuring out idea generation. Like Jobs, he saw how to get a massive amount done all over the place.
