A Mountain of Books To Read This Winter (2024)
Sharing my reading list for the winter. A collection of 28 awe-inspiring books!
Fellow Nerds,
Happy winter! Tis’ the season to be jolly; Falalala…you get it, and you definitely don’t need me serenading you. So, without further ado, I’m thrilled to share my Winter Reading List of 2024 with you all. It’s a hefty one, 28 books to be precise. Yes, I know, that’s a lot. But if you’re here, I suspect you understand the irresistible pull of books just as much as me.
The good news? Every single book on this list is packed with the kind of depth and curiosity, sparking ideas we love to explore on this substack. From complexity theory to consciousness, and even a few surprises nestled in for pure curiosity’s sake.
The not-so-bad news? If you're hoping for AI or Quantum Physics titles this season, you might be disappointed (or delighted, depending on your inclination). But before you make up your mind, I urge you to glance at this lineup. Trust me, some of these reads will stretch your mind in unexpected ways, pushing you to see familiar topics through entirely new lenses.
So whether you’re here for the science, the philosophy, or just to see if I’ll make it out of this winter without my brain imploding, there’s something for everyone.
Check out the list, pick a few (or all, if you’re feeling adventurous), and let’s challenge ourselves this winter to read, question, and grow.
Happy reading, and here’s to a winter filled with wonder.
